2024 Players Handbook Wizards Draft. Wizards of the coast has been extremely vague about backwards compatibility over the course of the dnd 2024 / oned&d playtest, but there are a few bits of text in the new. It was released in early sept.

D&d beyond calls them the “2024 player’s handbook/dungeon master’s guide/monster manual”, but the monster manual doesn’t even release until 2025! I think it’s less a limitation and more that the schools pretty much cover all your bases for wizards and there’s just not much else fruitful in the design space for how magic works in d&d for.
